Braden Jewell Obituary

Braden Staley Jewell, 87, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed away January 6, 2022 following a short illness at the St. Joseph Health Center. Braden was born on May 17, 1934 in Pennsboro, WV, the son of Melvin and Nellie (Hickman) Jewell.

After 30 years of service, he retired from Republic Steel. In earlier years he enjoyed woodworking and playing music.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Geraldine Jewell, sons Steven (Paula) Jewell of Newton Falls, Kevin (Tammy) Jewell of Deerfield, brother Delmas (Ginger) Jewell of Newton Falls, sisters Maxine (Darrel) Brunner of Youngstown, Gearleen Colarik of Newton Falls, Helen (Bill) Marsh of West Virginia, grandsons Steven (Rebecca) Jewell of Newton Falls, Johnny (Darlina) Jewell of Newton Falls, granddaughter Samantha Jewell of Niles, great grandchildren Addilyn, Mia, Zoe and best 4 legged friend and sidekick, Buddy.

Braden is preceded in death by his two sons Samual and Fredrick Jewell.

A drive by service will be held at Newton Township Cemetery on Monday, January 10 at 11 AM.
