Bonnie M. (Jewell) Sipes

Bonnie M. Sipes, 85, of Newton Falls, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Heather Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation.  She was born on February 1, 1936 in Pennsboro, WV, the daughter of Melvin and Nellie (Hickman) Jewell.

Bonnie was a homemaker, taking care of her family was her number one priority.  She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening, and liked working crossword puzzle books.

On May 9, 1959, Bonnie and Harold Sipes were joined marriage.  He preceded her in death on August 10, 2009.

Cherished memories will be carried on by her sons Harold (Janet) Sipes, Jr. of Eastlake, OH, and Danny (Lynn) Sipes of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, brothers Braden Jewell and Delmas Jewell, both of Newton Falls, OH, sisters Maxine Brunner of Boardman, OH, Helen Marsh of WV, and Jeraline Colerick of Newton Falls, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Preceding Bonnie in death were her husband, daughter Kathy Lambert whom passed away on June 3, 2013, and sisters Nancy and Sandra.

Family and friends may call on Friday, July 9 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where services will be at 11 with Pastor B. Glen Rader officiating.

Bonnie will be laid to rest at the Newton Township Cemetery.
