Beverly Sue Wellman, 56, of North Lima, passed away peacefully and went into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Parkside Health Care Center following a 6 1/2 week stay at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on February 14, 1962 in Salem, the youngest daughter of John “Pete” and Shirley Arkwright Wellman.
Beverly was a graduate of Leonard Kirtz School in Austintown.
She was employed by the Mahoning County Workshop for 36 years.
Beverly was a lifelong member of Paradise Church in Canfield.
In her spare time she enjoyed dancing, listening to country music, going to the Canfield Fair, watching the Pittsburg Steelers, celebrating her birthday on Valentine’s Day, and above all, spending time with her family.
Cherished memories of Beverly will be carried on by her parents of North Lima, sisters Patty (Tom) Roller of North Lima, Marilyn (Chris) Hatch of Canfield, and Cheryl (Tom) Hudzik of Greenford, niece Audra Hatch, nephews Adams (Carrie) Roller, Christopher (Morgan) Hatch, Luke Wellman, and Jakeb Fry, and 8 great nieces and nephews.
Preceding Beverly in death was nephew Aaron Roller.
Family and friends may call from 2 – 4 PM on Wednesday, January 16 at Paradise Church where services will follow the calling hours.
Beverly will be laid to rest in the Paradise Church Cemetery.
We know she is dancing on the streets of gold in heaven in her new shoes.
