Bernice M. (Romesberg) McClintock

Bernice M. McClintock, 87, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, at Ohio Living Lake Vista after a period of declining health.

She was born in Rockwood, PA., on Friday, March 31, 1933, the daughter of Howard G. and Pearl G. (Miller) Romesberg and came to the Warren area in 1953.

Bernice had retired from employment as a nursing assistant with Shepherd of the Valley, and also had worked for several local grocery stores in the bakery department.  She was of the Lutheran faith, and enjoyed traveling, shopping (especially at Kohl’s) and camping.

Cherished memories of Bernice will be carried on by her two children, Lynn A. McClintock and Debra J. (Howard Walls, Jr.) Kelsey.; two grandsons, Kevin D. Kelsey and Brandon S. Kelsey, and two sisters, Thelma J. (Glenn) Saylor and Joyce L. (Jim) Farkosh.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Warren G. McClintock who died Dec. 9, 2014.

Private services were held.  Professional arrangements were handled by the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.

The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the staff at Ohio Living Lake Vista for the loving and respectful care that they showed toward Bernice while in their care.
