Arthur W. Figinsky

Arthur W. Figinsky, 79, of Lordstown, passed away on January 31, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on February 8, 1941 in Youngstown, the son of Arthur A. and Martha (Armes) Figinsky.

Arthur was a 1959 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School.

He was a member of the First Federated Church of North Jackson.

He proudly served our country in the US Army.

In 1961 in North Jackson Arthur was united in marriage to Christa Staron.

Arthur was a self-employed truck driver, successful tavern operator of Artie's Lounge in Austintown and Figinsky Blue Ridge Tavern in North Jackson, and he owned and operated a Sohio Gas Station also in North Jackson. 

In his spare time he enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles, and racing stock cars.

Cherished memories of Arthur will be carried on by his sons Michael of Warren, Robert of Missouri, and Arthur of Lordstown, a brother Delmar (Deborah) of Darlington, SC, three grandchildren and  four great grandchildren.

Preceding Arthur in death were his wife who passed away on November 7, 2008, brother Dean, grandson Bobby and sister Peggy Kechler.
