Angeline Bervish, 93, of Windham, OH, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Angeline was born on August 10, 1928 in Hamtramck, MI, the daughter of Walter and Jane (Stopczynski) Szczawinski.
After receiving her formal education she was employed as a machine operator at Energizer.
She was a member of St. Michael Church in Windham where she was a member of the Ladies’ Guild and participated in many church activities, especially BINGO.
In her spare time Angeline enjoyed bird watching, gardening, crafting, doing puzzles, and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed being with spending time with family.
She was united in marriage with Paul J. Bervish on May 30, 1949 in Hamtramck, MI.
Cherished memories of Angeline will be carried on by her sons Chris (Carletta) Bervish and Arnold (Gloria) Bervish both of Windham, sister Dorothy Hering of Michigan, grandchildren Violet, Zebulon, Blaize, Brennan, and Zachary, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceding Angeline in death were her husband Paul, brothers Casmir Szczawinski, Harry and Edward Berent and sisters Pearl Lenda, and Eleanor Cebula.
Family and friends may call at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home on Wednesday, April 27 from 5 – 8 PM and on Thursday, April 28 from 9:45 – 10:45 AM where services will be at 11 AM. Interment will follow the services.
