Angela Marie Denzler, 56, passed away peacefully after extended illness on February 3, 2026, at Hillcrest Hospital. She was born August 14, 1969 in Ravenna, Ohio, and Mantua was always home to her. While she lived for periods of time in Fort Myers, Florida, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, she always returned to Mantua to reside. Angela was the loving mother of three sons, Justice Denzler and his wife Nicole, and their children, JJ and Gracie of Newton Falls, Ohio; Bryce Denzler and his wife Tara, and their daughter, Ellie of Newton Falls, Ohio; and Gunner Daugherty of Ravenswood, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie “Lynn” Stone-Tilley of Mantua; her maternal grandparents, Goldie Adkins-Stone and Forrest Lynn Stone of Mantua; her paternal grandmother, Abigail Wallace-Tilley; her uncle, Michael Stone and his wife, Sharon of Ravenna; her aunt, Cheryle Stone-Baker of Atwater; her uncle, Randall Stone and his wife, Rebecca of Garrettsville; her uncle, Charles Smith of Paris Township; and her aunt, Phyllis “Toody” Tilley of Mountain City, Tennessee.

Angela is survived by her father, Joseph Tilley of Mantua; her sister, Tammy Tilley-McGee of Mantua; her brother, Joseph Tilley and his wife, Amy of Kent; her aunt, Deborah Renee Stone-Smith, also like a second mom to Angie, of Paris Township; her aunt, Betty Greenwell of Mountain City, Tennessee; and her uncle, Eulace and her aunt, Julie Wallace of Mantua.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Cameron McGee and fiancé, Lauren Bensie of Ravenna; Brandan McGee and wife, Emily Esposito and their daughters, Esmae and Millie McGee of Baltimore, Maryland, Mae-Lynn McGee and fiancé, Jeffery Dowdall of Louisville, Kentucky; Isabelle Tilley and Andrew of Mantua, and Joseph Tilley Jr. and Karlee of Kent  and their son, Joseph Tilley. 

Angela was an entrepreneur who previously owned both a pet store and a thrift store, turning her deep love of animals and thrifting into a way to serve others. A true tomboy, country girl at heart, she loved the outdoors, fishing—at which she was especially skilled—camping, and sitting around a warm campfire with friends and family.  One of her fondest childhood memories were of the days when she and her siblings would lay under the old oak tree in her mother’s hammock waiting in anticipation for their mom to come home,  just the “feeling” of excitement, of seeing her pull-up the driveway.  She reminisced about this often. 

She was known for dragging home little critters from her many adventures, from crayfish, turtles to raccoons. One day she came home with a big ole smile on her face and a black snake in a bucket much to her dad’s surprise. Her passion for animals led her to caring for many unique and exotic animals over the years.

Angie lived life fully and joyfully. She had a bold, vibrant spirit, a welcoming heart, and a smile that could light up any room. No one remained a stranger for long in her presence. To know her was truly to love her, and she will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to share in her life.

In honoring Angie’s wishes, she will be cremated. She felt funerals were a bit too somber for her bright and joyful soul. Rather than sadness, she hoped to be remembered with music, joy and celebration. The family will hold a Celebration of Life later this summer, where loved ones can gather to share memories, laughter, and the joy she brought to so many.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to plant something in her memory—flowers, a tree, or a garden plant—anything that brings you joy, so every time you look at it, may you be reminded of Angie’s beautiful soul.
