Mr. Terrance “Terry” Steve Holesko, 71, of Freedom Heights Drive, Hartwell, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at his home.
Born on January 21, 1948 in Warren, OH, he was the son of the late Steve Holesko and Madeline Gretchko Holesko.
He was a 1966 graduate of Newton Falls High School. Terry enjoyed football and basketball, especially the Steelers, Browns, and Cavaliers.
Terry was retried from Pearless-Winsmith, a member of the Train Collectors Association, and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife: Kathleen A. Holesko; four sons: Stephen J. Holesko, Mark Holesko, and Erik Holesko (Tara), all of Newton Falls, OH, Matthew Washington of Evergreen, CO; a daughter: Melinda Washington Reinoehl of St. Pauls, NC; eight grandchildren: Ashely Holesko, Stephen T. Holesko, Rachel Holesko, Kate Holesko, Michael Holesko, Lou Ann Reinoehl, Emma Reinoehl, Lillian Reinoehl; and two great-grandchildren: Andrew and Adalynn Taylor.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Joan Monroe and Marsha Ogrean.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, June 4 from 5 – 8 PM and also on Wednesday, June 5 from 10 – 10:30 AM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls and services will follow at St. Mary and St. Joseph Church at 11 AM with Terry’s cousin Rev. A. Edward Gretchko officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Newton Falls.
