Tammy Jo Richards Jones 33 of Industry, Pa. lost her struggle with her drug and alcohol addiction on March 17, 2017 in Beaver Falls, PA.

Tammy was born on August 8, 1983 in Parkersburg, W.Va. The daughter of Jeffrey Richards and Robin Bates Greer.  

Cherished memories of Tammy will be carried on by her parents as well as her lifelong companion John P. Jones III. Her two sons and a daughter Chandler Allen Richards of Newton Falls Ohio,  John P. Jones IV of Industry Pa. and JoLynn Rose Richards of Ravenna Ohio. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Preceding Tammy Jo in death are two brothers, Gary Michael, Jeramie Robert and a sister Amy Lynn.

With fond memories, we strive to remember all the good that she brought to our lives, with her beautiful brown eyes and huge smile. Her versatile interests always kept us guessing as to whether she was doing her hair and makeup as a girly girl or throwing on her boots, putting her hair up in a messy bun and jumping on the four-wheeler to go mudding. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with those she loved, especially her children.

We understand that she lived a life of torment while we witnessed first-hand the destruction of addiction. As we push through the devastation of her addiction she left behind, we hope, we pray that her life reminds us that the torment, destruction and devastation CAN  be prevented. If you have these struggles PLEASE seek HELP.

Tammy Jo left us too soon, we would like you to understand addiction is REAL and it affects our family our friends and our community.

Those of you that would like to celebrate Tammy Jo’s life alongside of her family are welcome to join us at Bethel Baptist Church  745 N. Freedom St. Ravenna, Ohio. Services will begin at 4:00 PM on March 21, 2017. Pastor David Ballert will be officiating the services.
