Sherrie L. (Ostrek) Petrick

Sherrie L. Petrick, 56, of Newton Falls, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at her residence with family and friends at her side.  She was born on March 27, 1962 in Warren, the daughter of George and Marie (Shaffron) Ostrek.

Sherrie was a 1980 graduate of Southington High School and graduated in 1993 from Sharon General Hospital, School of Nursing.

During her nursing career she worked at Warren General Hospital, and Trumbull Memorial Hospital where she went on to be Clinical Director at Forum Health At Home. 

Sherrie was associated with Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Newton Falls. 

In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her animals, going to garage sales, eating out with family and friends, but above all else helping others.

Cherished memories of Sherrie will be carried on by her mother of Newton Falls, and daughter Lindsay (Dennis) Musser of Newton Falls, 3 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Preceding Sherrie in death was her father.

Services will be held at Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Newton Falls on Sunday, January 13 at 2 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
