Robert Frank Dugic, 84, of Newton Falls passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at his residence with his family by his side. Bob was born on May 7, 1934 in Newton Falls, the son of Frank James and Susanna (Blasko) Dugic.
He attended Newton Falls Schools.
Bob served our country in the US Army.
On July 5, 1958 at St. Joseph Catholic Church Bob was united in marriage with Linda Lee Lingo.
He was employed by GM for 33 years.
Bob was a parishioner of St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a member of K of C 3350 and was a member of the American Legion 737.
Bob was a founding member of the Newton Falls Sportsman, now known at Eagle Creek Conservation Club. He was also a member of the Mahoning County Coon Hunters.
In his spare time, Bob enjoyed to garden and raise pheasants for the State of Ohio. He was all about the outdoors and conservation, but above all else he loved to spend time with his family.
Cherished memories will be carried on by his wife Linda, son Bruce Robert Dugic of Newton Falls, daughter Dawn Renee (Jeff) Reinke of Warren, brothers Francis (Rita) Dugic of Newton Falls, and Jim (Deanna) Dugic of Warren, sister Marie Dye of Champion, grandchildren Daniel, Darren, Dylan, Jessica, and Andrew, great granddaughter Autumn and a soon to be great granddaughter Kensley.
Preceding Bob in death was his infant daughter, Vikki Lynne.
Private family services will be held with inurnment at St. Joseph Cemetery at a future date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Bob’s name to the local food bank of their choice.
