Patricia Frances Medallis (nee Welsko), of Cortland, Ohio, known to friends as "Pat", passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018, at the age of 83 years.
A native of Newton Falls, Ohio, Pat was an avid sports fan and loyally cheered on the Indians, Browns, and Cavs. She loved playing the Lucky Red 7's at Hollywood, as well as bingo and bridge with friends.
Pat had a keen sense of intuition and she often had words of wisdom to share. As stated in Pat's high school year book, "She has wit; she's very clever; she's a friend you'll have forever."
Pat retired from the Trumbull County Children Services Board.
She was loved so much, by so many, including her children Lori (Randy) Fiest, Mark (Beth) Medallis, Sandy (Glenn) Eisenberg, Francie (Philip) Pavlidis, Tony Medallis; grandchildren Beth (Adam) Boryenace, Neil (Jesse) Fiest, Jonathan Baer, Alysa Baer, Eric Medallis, Todd Medallis, Calla (Ricky) Talman, Jessie Pavlidis; and great-grandchildren Max Boryenace, Anneliese Fiest, and Madison Talman.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents George and Frances Welsko, brother Donald Welsko, and sisters Lorraine Brazin and Joanne Smith.
A private mass will be held at a later date.
