Leroy M. Roosa, 71, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on December 7, 1945, the loving son of Leonard and Adella (Schumm) Roosa in Ravenna.

On July 20, 1965 in Newton Falls Leroy and Darlene Wolfe were married and had 4 children.

He was a parishioner of the former Christ our King Church in Warren.

Leroy’s work history included the Ravenna Arsenal and managing a laundromat.

In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars, listening to country music, watching westerns on TV, being an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns, and watching wrestling, but above all else he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Cherished memories of Leroy will be carried on by his devoted loving wife of over 50 years, Darlene, son Michael Roosa of Painsville, daughters Laura (Ronald) Spirko, Elizabeth (Scott) Cole, and Mary Roosa all of Warren, brother Butch Roosa of Ravenna, sisters Barbara Hood of Chardon, Mary Roosa, Pearl Sands, and Alice Hanna all of Ravenna, and 9 grandchildren.

Preceding Leroy in death were 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Family and friends may call at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home on Monday June 19 from 9 to 10 AM.  Leroy will be laid to rest in Pine Knoll Cemetery.
