James Vladimir Firtik, Sr., 63, of Newton Falls, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in Newton Falls. Jim was born on June 8, 1956 in Ravenna, the son Vladimir Frank Firtik and Ruth Diane Wood.

He was a self-employed dry wall contractor.

In Jim’s spare time he enjoyed fishing with his grand kids, listening to music and firing guns.

Memories of Jim will be carried on by his son James Vladimir Firtik, Jr. of Newton Falls, daughter Andrea Dawn Firtik of Uniontown, PA, brother Joey (Christine) Firtik of Nelson, 3 sisters Diane (Frank) Wilke of Garrettsville, Cathy Farley of Windham, Mary (Ed) Hinkle of Freedom, and grandchildren Shayleigh Rene Greathouse, Jackie Marie Firtik, Anthony Greathouse, James Vladimir Firtik III, and Corbin Firtik, and 4 great grandchildren.

Preceding Jim in death were his parents.

There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
