Edward James Karr

Edward James Karr, 79, of Southington, Ohio, passed away on January 9, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side.  On July 19, 1940 in Warren, Harold and Barbara McMahon Karr welcomed the birth of their son Edward.

He was formerly employed at Rockwell International and then worked for Warren Concrete as a truck driver.  He was a member of the Teamsters Union.

In his spare time he enjoyed rebuilding cars with his sons. 

On July 1, 1966 Edward and Linda Gotham were united in marriage in Warren.

Cherished memories of Edward will be carried on by his wife Linda, sons James A. Karr and Michael E. (Renee) Karr all of Southington, brother Thomas Karr of Leavittsburg and sisters Louise Ulam, Betty Conti, Carol Karr, Ruth Kaltenbaugh and Doris Hearn, and grandchildren Austin, Madison, Thomas, and Nicholas Karr.

Preceding Edward in death were his parents, and brothers Charles Karr and Howard Karr.

Burial will be at the Southington Cemetery at a later date.

The family would like to give thanks to the Cleveland Clinic Oncology Department, especially Dr. Gilligan and All Caring Hospice.  The family asks that you consider making a donation to the local America Cancer Society at 525 N Broad St, Canfield, OH 44406.
