Duane E. Seem

Duane E. Seem, 54, of Palmyra Township, passed on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on September 27, 1964 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Gordon and Virginia Carlson Seem.  He was a graduate of Southeast High School and attended Maplewood JVS studying auto body, which led to quite a few years of employment in that field.

He enjoyed visiting with friends and Duane was a good neighbor, helping them with chores around their house.  His church family was very important to him.  Duane enjoyed the fellowship that he found there.

Duane is survived by his father, Gordon Seem; his sister, Darlene (Scott) Shilling; his nieces, Lauren Mohler and Brittany Mohler; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. He was loved and will be missed by all.

Duane was predeceased by his mother, Virginia Carlson Seem; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Gladys Carlson and his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Lena Seem.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Milton Baptist Temple, where a service will be held at noon with Pastor Joseph Griffis officiating.

Interment will be in the North Jackson Cemetery.
