Agnes Mailach, 97, of Newton Falls, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home.  Agnes was born on June 6, 1920, the daughter of Henry and Agnes (Welts) Mailach Sr.

She graduated from Palmyra High School.  Agnes was an office worker at Union Savings & Trust from which she retired.

Agnes proudly served our country during WW II in the US Navy Waves.

Agnes had a beautiful smile, great sense of humor and enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

She lived a long happy life and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cherished memories of Agnes will be carried on by her nieces Janet (Earl) Dunham, Kristina (Gerald) Drake, Carol Mailach, and Vickie (Russ) Robinson, nephews Kenneth Mailach and John  Mailach Jr., and many generations of great nieces and nephews.

Preceding Agnes in death were her parents and siblings Kathryn Mailach Suzelis, Henry (Hank) Mailach, Jr., and John Mailach.

Family and friends may gather from 4 – 6 PM Friday, September 29 at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where a service will follow to celebrate Agnes’s life.
