On Tuesday morning, March 26, 2024, Tracy Lynn Viebranz 52, passed away unexpectedly at University Hospital Portage Medical Center in Ravenna Ohio.
Tracy was born on November 30, 1971 in Ravenna, Ohio. She was the daughter of Richard and Sharon (Cale) Viebranz. Tracy was a 1990 graduate of Windham High School where she was crowned Homecoming Queen. Tracy was employed by NOVO Healthcare.
Surviving are her children, Nathan Carocci, Chelsea Carocci, and Brenden Podsedly. Also surviving are her father, Richard (Judy) Viebranz, Jr. and siblings John (Hope) Viebranz, Paul Hedge, Richard Viebranz, III, Megan (Bryan) Fisher, and Jacob Viebranz. In addition, Tracy also leaves behind grandchildren (aka “the littles”) and many nephews, and nieces. Preceding Tracy in death was her mother, Sharon (Cale) Manahl, and grandparents, Richard, Sr. and Suzanne Viebranz, Bodie Cale, Sr. and Stella (Cale) Sanchez, as well as Grace Mitchell.
Tracy could often be found in the kitchen or celebrating her beloved Steelers. She had countless beloved people in her life and was always one to make witty jokes and share in laughter. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends throughout the years.
A celebration of life and memorial services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024. Calling hours will be at the Congregational, United Church of Christ, 9029 North Main Street, Windham, Ohio from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with the service at 6:00 p.m., and followed by a time of food, fellowship and sharing in the Brick Chapel, 9003 North Main Street, Windham, OH.
Tracy’s family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, prayers and support during this difficult time. A special thank you is extended to the Ravenna police department, fire department & EMT crews as well as the staff at UH Portage Medical Center for their excellent care and compassion.
