Veldren Theoma Farr, 86, passed on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a short illness, after enduring multiple sclerosis for 63 years. She was born in Bristolville, Ohio on October 29, 1931, the daughter of Ivan and Sophie Gale Coons. She graduated from Bristolville High School in 1950.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Farr in 1961.
Veldren had enjoyed golf, playing pool, crocheting and woodworking to name a few. Her most enjoyable pastime was watching her birds and squirrels out of her window at Grace Wood Retirement Home where she had resided for years.
Cherished memories of Veldren will be carried on by her daughter, Ramona Reed of Las Vegas; her son, Kenyon Farr (Becky) of Salem; her five grandsons, Brian Marko (Kristy), Kyle, Brandon, Kenyon and Keaten Farr; her granddaughter, Krista Dean and four great grandchildren.
Preceding Veldren were her parents; her husband, Kenneth Farr in 1995; her son, Kyle Farr; her granddaughter, Christa Keeley; her brothers, Keith, Kenneth and Kenard Coons and her sisters, Vera Leeworthy, Verona Chasser and Genevieve Mansfield.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls. A service will follow visitation.
Interment will be in Sager Memorial Park in Bristolville, Ohio.
Heartfelt thanks are extended to the many family members and friends that have given care to Veldren during her lifetime, especially Lois, Van and Chris.
