Thomas I. Bordas II, passed away peacefully at University Hospital May 30, 2017 following a stroke. Tom was born on June 30, 1953 to Thomas and Irene Bordas in Connellsville, PA. His family relocated to Newton Falls, Ohio where Tom spent the remainder of his life. Tom graduated from Newton Falls High School in 1971. After graduation Tom started his successful towing business, Bordas Towing. He remained in business for 40 years before retiring.

Tom was an avid Cleveland sports fan, enjoyed cooking, and spending time with family and friends especially in the game room.

Tom is survived by his wife of almost 40 years Kathie, three daughters, Tiffanie (Tim) Beardsley of Pittsburgh, Tarah (Erik) Holesko of Newton Falls, and Trissa (Dominic) Menendez of Howland. He is also survived by 5 beautiful grandchildren, Kate and Michael Holesko, Logan and Matthew Menendez, and Melanie Beardsley.

If anyone knew Tom, they knew that he did not want calling hours or a funeral. He wanted a party. He would have wanted you to have a beer or a cup of coffee for him. So please raise a glass for Tom to the great man he was.

Private family services will be held.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.

To end in the words of Tom Bordas, PBR me ASAP!
