Rose Laura (Lane) Amatore

Rose Laura Amatore, 95, of Newton Falls, entered into eternal rest on Friday February 2, 2018 at Park Center Healthcare in Youngstown.  Rose was born in Warren on November 6, 1922, the daughter of William J. and Hallie Dawes Lane.

After receiving her formal education Rose worked at General Electric Lamp in Warren.  She was of Methodist faith.  Rose enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

Rose was united in marriage to Frank Amatore on July 25, 1953 and had two sons, Frank and William.

Cherished memories of Rose will be carried on by her son Frank Jr. (Rosemary) and sister-in-law Helen Amatore and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Rose in death were her husband Frank in 1972 and son William in 2014.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday February 6 from 10 – 11 AM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where a service will be held at 11 AM.  Rose will be laid to rest at Newton Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice in Rose’s name.
