Raymond W. Sickle, 86, of Newton Falls, passed away on Thursday June 22, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Health Center. On August 19, 1930 in Palmyra Wyatt and Lettie (McKenzie) Sickle welcomed the birth of their son.
Ray was employed for 30 years at Denman Rubber, retiring from his duties as a maintenance superintendent in 1984.
He was a member of the Wayland Community Church.
In his spare time Ray enjoyed racing Jeeps, archery, wood carving, lawn mower tractor pulls, the study of lapidary, gardening and playing the guitar.
On June 10, 1950 in Wayland Raymond and Jacqueline (Miller) were united in marriage.
Loving memories of Ray will be carried on by his wife Jacqueline, son Tim (Lyn) Sickle, daughters Patti Lewis, Jodi (Kenny) Fetzer, sisters Alice Hughes and Barbara Wilson, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday June 28 at the Wayland Community Church at 3 PM with Pastor Tom Holbrook officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
