MINERAL RIDGE – Helen J. Lewis, 86, born Sept. 28, 1930, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 6, 2017.

She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and spending time with her family.

She was an excellent caregiver to her husband and many others.

She attended the Lake Milton Baptist Temple for many years and was an usher and Sunday school teacher. In her later years, she attended VCC with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford and her brother, Robert.

She leaves behind a sister, Dorthy Bricker (Neil); daughter Diana Santiago (Orlando); son William Lewis (Janet); grandchildren Christina Jenny, Bill, Heather and Cassie; and her great-grandchildren, Jullian, Nadiya, Helen and Ayden.

The family will be holding a memorial at the Lake Milton Baptist Temple on Sept. 14, 2017, from 4 to 5 p.m. and reception after.
