Geraldine Sue (Roush) Winland, 69, of Braceville, Ohio passed away August 5, 2017 after courageously battling cancer with her family by her side.  She was born to the late Evelyn Lucille Roush and James Franklin Wilford on March 31, 1948.

Geraldine was not only a loving wife and mother, she held her family together with her undying love for the people she cared for.  She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and spoiling her pets, but most of all she loved making memories with the ones she loved, even if that meant squirting everyone with a water gun as they walked by her kitchen window.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Franklin Winland, Sr., her sister, Dorothy Jean Brown of Warren, her sons James Franklin Winland, Jr. of Newton Falls, Gary Allen Winland of North Bloomfield, Curtis Lee Winland of Warren, Jesse Jay Winland of Braceville, her daughter Renea Lynn Kaczmark of Newton Falls, her 13 grandchildren, and her 5 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her sisters Regina May Barnhart of North Bloomfield, Mary Louise Hood of Newton Falls, Nancy Lee Butler of Newton Falls, her brother James (Sonny) Franklin Roush of Cleveland, and her daughter Liucrettia (Sissy) Sue Winland of Newton Falls.

Her family will be having a celebration of life service on August 20, 2017 from 2 – 5 PM at the Braceville Township Hall, 586 Braceville Robinson Road SW, Braceville, Ohio. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be sent to 4442 St. Rte. 82, Newton Falls, Ohio 44444.
