Dora L. Marlow, age 89 of Windham, passed away Tuesday November 21, 2017 at home with her family.  Dora was born in Wheeling WV on September 7, 1928, the daughter of the late James and Alvia (Friend) Johnson.

She worked twice at the Ravenna Arsenal in the 1950s and again in in the 1970s.  She also worked at Parker Hannifin. 

She enjoyed camping across the United States with her husband, and later spending time with her great grandchildren.

Dora is survived by her daughter Sylvia Jean (Marlow) Purdy, granddaughter Marlo, great grandchildren Jared Purdy and Jocelyn Jenkins, her sister Mary (Frances) Tresino, many nieces and nephews, dear friends Sherry and Lee Love, Mark Purdy, and Liz..

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James of 59 years of marriage, brothers James (Ike), John, and Walter Johnson.

At Dora’s request  cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
