Andre C. Meadows, 67, passed away on Thursday, June 15 2017, at his residence in Newton Falls.  On November 15, 1949 in St. Joseph, Missouri, Forrest and Martha (Fotopoulos) Meadows welcomed the birth of their son Andre.

After his formal education, Andre proudly served our country for more than 23 years in the US Navy.  He served several tours in Vietnam.  Andre was awarded numerous accolades for his service.

After retiring from the military he worked as a long distance truck driver.

On September 30, 1972 in Poughkeepsie, NY Andre and Candace Holzwarth were united in marriage.

He was a member of the Newton Falls VFW Post 3332 and the American Legion 236.  Andre enjoyed travelling.

Loving memories of Andre will be carried on by his wife Candace, son Glenn (Shiela) Meadows of Lordstown, daughters Loretta Meadows of Leavittsburg, and Jennifer (Kevin) Harvey of New Castle, PA, sister Rebecca (Tim) Berg of Danville, CA, and 2 grand children.

Andre was preceded in death by a brother Roger Meadows.

There will be no calling hours or services.  Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
